Two Webinars to Take Place on May 30, 2024

 

The Office of Child Care (OCC) is pleased to offer two webinars on Thursday, May 30, 2024, in observance of Mental Health Awareness Month.  These sessions extend the discussion on the recently released OCC Information Memorandum (IM) outlining recommendations to improve mental health supports using Child Care and Development Fund (CCDF) resources.

Workforce Supports for Promoting Mental Health and Well-being in Out-of-School Time

Time: 3:00 – 4:00 p.m. ET

Hosted by: OCC’s National Center on Afterschool and Summer Enrichment

Participants: CCDF administrators, school-age leaders and decision-makers including statewide afterschool network leads and National Afterschool Association affiliate staff members.

    

     Summary:

Learn about state strategies, including collaboration to increase professional development opportunities and expand access to training and coaching for the out-of-school time workforce. Presenters will provide strategies and resources to support this work and will facilitate an interactive conversation with participants.
