One of the most pressing issues working parents of young children face today is the finding affordable, accessible, and high-quality childcare. In 2019, ReadyNation commissioned a study examining the economic impacts of the nation’s childcare crisis on working parents, employers, and taxpayers. Our findings were eye-opening: the annual economic cost of the childcare crisis resulted in $57 billion in lost earnings, productivity, and revenue. Join us as we discuss California's childcare crisis in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic and why fixing the childcare crisis is critical to our economic recovery and societal well-being.
